Introduction

Automicle is a simplified network interface between local transport operators and mobility providers. A mobility provider can be any business having an online presence in the form of digital user interfaces such as apps and websites.

Automicle provides mobility providers with a set of APIs and SDKs for integrating local transport into their applications under their own name. These APIs and SDKs enable developers to easily plan, book and access various transportation options such as public transport, parking, shared mobility and more, within a city. The Automicle network allows for quick integration of features like e-ticket sales, real-time parking availability and reservation, on-demand shared scooter and bike bookings, and taxi and ride-hailing reservations into their user experience, providing a seamless and convenient mobility experience for their users. The API is designed to be developer-friendly, with detailed documentation and examples provided in popular programming languages and it works with various platforms.

At present, Automicle provides coverage for public transport and on-street and off-street parking services in the Netherlands. We are actively working on expanding our coverage to include more transportation modes and regions across Europe.

Getting Started#

To begin utilizing the Automicle API and SDK, you will first need to obtain API credentials. Register your application on the Automicle admin portal to receive your API credentials for the sandbox environment. Once you have successfully tested your application, you can submit a request for production keys. Please note that some transport operators may have additional testing requirements before granting production keys.
